What is STE

Simplified Technical English (STE) is a controlled language developed to make technical documentation easier to read, understand, and translate—especially for non-native English speakers. It is most commonly used in the aerospace, defense, construction, academic and other high-precision industries for customer communications who have English as a Second Language (ESL).
